• Conduct thorough assessments for clients seeking treatment for substance use disorders, understanding their unique needs and goals.
• Craft individualized treatment plans based on comprehensive evaluations, employing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
• Provide one-on-one counseling sessions using approaches such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) to engage patients effectively.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions, empowering clients through shared experiences and collective support.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, including psychiatrists and addiction specialists, to provide coordinated care tailored for each patient.
• Offer crisis intervention and immediate support during emergencies related to substance use, ensuring client safety and well-being.
• Educate clients and their families on addiction, recovery strategies, and available resources within the community.
• Maintain comprehensive and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in continuous professional development through team meetings, case consultations, and accessible continuing education resources.
• Stay informed on the latest research, trends, and best practices in substance use disorder treatment to enhance service delivery.

Your work will directly impact patients of diverse backgrounds who are confronting the complexities of addiction. • A Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field such as Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or PsyD within the state of Washington.
• Proven experience working with individuals facing substance use challenges, demonstrating an understanding of various therapeutic methodologies tailored for addiction recovery.

• Experience in providing telehealth services and familiarity with virtual therapy platforms.
• Training in evidence-based practices specifically for substance use disorders, such as Motivational Enhancement Therapy or Dialectical Behavior Therapy.
• A solid understanding of community resources specific to Washington state that can aid client recovery.
