• Conduct thorough assessments to identify the specific needs and recovery goals of patients seeking substance use disorder treatment.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans, employing therapeutic techniques such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy.
• Facilitate both individual counseling sessions and group therapy, creating a safe and supportive environment for patients to share their experiences.
• Provide crisis intervention services during substance-related emergencies, ensuring immediate support for those in need.
• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and optimize treatment outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on addiction, recovery strategies, and available community resources to encourage ongoing support.
• Maintain precise documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and thorough record-keeping.
• Participate actively in team meetings, professional development programs, and case discussions to stay up to date with best practices in substance use disorder treatment.

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, or PSYD in the state of Washington.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong commitment to patient advocacy and ethical practice.

• Experience working with substance use disorder populations or in community health settings.
• Proficiency in therapeutic modalities relevant to addiction treatment.
• Familiarity with digital health tools and teletherapy platforms to enhance patient engagement.
