As part of our outpatient service model, you will have a flexible schedule with the ability to manage consultations from your home office. • Provide evidence-based individual, family, and group counseling sessions to clients, utilizing a range of therapeutic techniques tailored to their unique challenges.
• Utilize our cloud-based electronic health record (EHR) system to document client progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state regulations and insurance requirements.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments to establish treatment goals and develop customized treatment plans addressing symptoms of mental health conditions, trauma, and dual diagnoses.
• Maintain confidentiality and safety of client information while adhering to HIPAA guidelines within all telehealth interactions.
• Manage a caseload of diverse clients, ensuring each individual receives dedicated, compassionate care throughout their treatment journey.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to enhance the support network for clients.

Our practice serves a varied client population, including adults and adolescents experiencing mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, and dual diagnoses. You will work directly with clients to identify their needs and develop detailed strategies to guide them toward recovery, focusing on holistic and personalized mental health solutions.

• A master's degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in New York State.
• A minimum of two years of experience in mental health counseling is required, with a strong understanding of various mental health conditions and treatment modalities.
• Proficient in using technology, including a reliable laptop or desktop computer equipped with internet access and an operational webcam for telehealth sessions.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage time effectively within a flexible schedule, with the willingness to accommodate some evening and weekend clients as necessary.
• Satisfactory completion of a background check prior to starting employment.

Experience with electronic health records, telehealth technologies, and a knowledge of Medicaid and Medicare compliance is highly desirable. Additionally, familiarity with treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) will enhance the quality of care you can provide to our clients.
