THE POSITION IN A NUTSHELL
SciensBuilding Solutions is seeking an Operations Manager who is a positive change agent and can drivehighcustomersatisfactionwhile leading a branch team, includingengineering, project execution and service departments,along witha back-office team to supporta business that is experiencing exciting growth.This opportunity is ideal for someone who has experience managing a team in the fireand life safetyindustry, and is ready to assume ownership of a branch operations rolewhile being part of a vibrant national organization.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING (and doing well!)

  • Ensure all associates embrace the safety culture and comply with all safety initiatives.
  • Manage the engineering and project management for the assigned Division.
  • Supervise, train, and develop all branch associates includingdesigners, project managers,technicians, project coordinators, supervisors, dispatchers, and administrative staff.
  • Ensure the scheduling, execution, billing and completion of install, service, warranty, and emergency jobs.
  • Develop a budget andmeet revenue and gross margin targets.
  • Communicate with customers, vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors toexecuteplans, programs and processes designed to meet or exceed goals and maximize market potential.
  • Deliver projects within the original budgeted cost.
  • Execute monthly project cost and Workin Progress (WIP) analysis.
  • Report monthly financial performance in an effective manner to management and takes corrective action as needed.
  • Responsible for efficient asset management,such as inventory and company service vehicles.
  • Build a high-performance culture to include performance reviews and development initiatives.
  • Lead manpower planning and allocation.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction and cash collections.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to support the growth and profitability of the branch.
