Title: Senior Manager, Sales Operations - Consumer

Location: US Remote

Position Summary

This position is responsible for supporting Cx Dermatology Skin Health field sales operations to drive results and enhance overall field execution and performance. This role requires daily collaboration with field sales, internal key partners and external resources that support alignment of KPIs to Cx Strategy. This role will drive operational excellence and improve the efficiency, optimization, communications, and productivity related to driving demand and profitability within the Cx business.

This position will be responsible for overseeing direct dispensing of consumer products thru the HCP.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive commercial excellence by identifying capability-building initiatives for Regionals Sales Managers and Field Sales Representatives focused on enhancing business planning, optimizing resources, and improving sales outcomes and salesforce productivity.
  • Serve as primary conduit and gatekeeper for all data requests coming from the field.
  • Serve as the primary liaison with external partners and Salesforce Effectiveness teams to develop, optimize and evolve operation dashboards for leadership and field sales. Leverage data insights to assess impact and identify opportunities to enhance sales performance.
  • Monitor, report, and analyze field performance metrics monthly, recommending strategic actions to improve salesforce effectiveness.
  • Execute segmentation and targeting analysis to optimize call planning, territory design, and salesforce deployment for maximum reach, frequency and ROI.
  • Primary Cx HCP conduit for reporting to support DSHP sales plans, provide analytical and financial modeling to the sales director(s) and regional sales managers that improve understanding and realization of opportunities to impact better execution and resource deployment for the DSHP sales team.
  • Maintain a current and expansive understanding of customer needs, challenges and opportunities through consistent and impactful field interaction with Regional Sales Managers, Field Salesforce and Key Opinion Leaders.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to maintain, enhance and rollout salesforce effectiveness platforms to enhance field execution including dashboards and Veeva CRM systems
  • Develop and lead the process for Cx sales incentive compensation plans and contests that help the business unit best achieve its vision, strategy, objectives, and financial targets while motivating the sales organization.
  • Leadership and management of direct dispensing of consumer products to HCPs.
  • Partner with outside fulfilment company, internal stakeholders and HCP customers to meet the needs of direct dispensing.
  • Other duties may be assigned

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in a business-related field is required.
  • MBA strongly preferred.
  • 8-10 years of professional experience, including 5+ or more years of progressive sales operations/commercial operations. Experience supporting field sales with formal sales leadership preferred. Cross-functional management or leadership experience (i.e. Marketing, Sales, Sales operations and strategy, Strategic Accounts, analytics)
  • Understanding of the US dermatology market and field sales deployment models
  • Highly developed analytical, operational, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically, understand performance drivers, build alignment, influence and execute without direct leadership authority
  • Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and collaborate with cross-functional groups

About the Compensation:

The base salary range for this role is determined based on several factors. These include but are not limited to job accountabilities; skill sets; experience and training; certifications; work location; competitive market rates and other business needs. At Galderma, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on a unique combination of factors for each role. A reasonable estimate of the hiring range for this role is $135,000-170,000.

In addition to base salary, we provide an opportunity to participate in an annual short-term incentive program that is based on corporate performance with a multiplier focused on individual performance.
