Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual, couples, and family therapy sessions remotely, utilizing secure digital platforms to ensure confidentiality and connection.
• Perform comprehensive assessments of clients’ mental health and relational status, formulating detailed and personalized treatment plans that align with therapeutic goals.
• Apply expertise in family systems theory to navigate diverse family dynamics, enhance communication strategies, and alleviate stressors affecting relationships.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention to clients facing acute distress, ensuring their safety and facilitating appropriate resources as needed.
• Maintain meticulous records, including client treatment plans and progress notes, adhering to all legal regulations and ethical standards of practice.
• Educate clients and their families on effective relationship-building techniques, communication skills, and coping mechanisms to foster resilience and personal growth.
• Engage in collaborative care efforts with other mental health professionals, including therapists and medical staff, to ensure comprehensive care for all clients.
• Remain informed of the latest trends, research, and practices in the field of marriage and family therapy through continuous professional education.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily impact diverse client groups, including individuals, couples, and families experiencing relational conflicts, emotional distress, or psychological challenges. You will play a pivotal role in enhancing the mental health outcomes of our clients, particularly those navigating family transitions, trauma, addiction, and interpersonal conflicts.

Qualifications

• Must possess a current and valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Oregon or the state in which you practice.
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field is required.
• At least one year of experience providing therapeutic services as a licensed LMFT.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating enthusiasm and empathy in all interactions with clients.
• A steadfast commitment to confidentiality and ethical practices in counseling.
• Candidates should be comfortable working independently, while also showcasing the ability to contribute positively within a multidisciplinary team setting.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience delivering outpatient therapy services is highly preferred, enhancing your ability to address a wide range of client issues effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

• Annual salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000, commensurate with qualifications and experience.
