• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient's history and identify suitable treatment methodologies.
• Develop personalized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and resilience, regularly tracking progress and adjusting approaches as needed.
• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to address patients’ unique needs.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, providing clients with a safe space to process their experiences and build effective coping mechanisms.
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other team members to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care, addressing both psychological and pharmaceutical needs.
• Deliver crisis intervention and timely support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure client safety and well-being.
• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping strategies, and available support resources, enhancing their overall understanding of the healing process.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with legal and ethical standards using our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development related to trauma-informed care.
• Remain informed of the most recent research and best practices in trauma therapy to continuously improve the quality of care provided.

Your work will primarily involve patients who are trauma survivors, including those experiencing PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. You will be tasked with understanding their diverse needs, fostering resilience, and aiding them in their unique recovery journeys. By providing empathetic, client-centered care, you will help these individuals navigate their challenges and achieve psychological well-being.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.
• A current and valid state licensure (LMFT, LPC, LCSW) applicable to the practice is mandatory.
• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities is essential.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and a compassionate approach are crucial for effective client engagement.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems is required to ensure efficient documentation and communication.

• A minimum of 2 years of direct experience in a mental health counseling role, post-licensure is preferred.
• Experience delivering evidence-based, trauma-focused therapies with a track record of positive client outcomes.
• Strong understanding of ethical practices in mental health care and the ability to remain composed in high-stress situations.
• Capability to work well in multidisciplinary teams, fostering a supportive environment.
