Job Summary
The Business Technology Analyst will serve as a key liaison between the Finance (CFO) organization and IT, supporting critical SAP platforms and integrated financial systems. This role is responsible for ensuring stability, continuous improvement, and strategic alignment of SAP solutions that support core finance functions.
The ideal candidate combines strong SAP functional knowledge with business process expertise, enabling them to translate Finance requirements into scalable, compliant, and efficient technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities
SAP & Finance Systems Support
  • Provide functional and technical support for SAP modules supporting the CFO organization (FI/CO, AP, AR, Treasury).
  • Troubleshoot production issues, coordinate resolutions, and ensure minimal disruption to critical financial operations.
  • Support integrations with upstream/downstream systems.

Business Partnership
  • Act as a trusted advisor to Finance stakeholders, translating business needs into system solutions and enhancements.
  • Facilitate requirements gathering, process design, and solution validation with cross-functional teams.
  • Ensure alignment of IT solutions with finance policies, regulatory requirements, and operational goals.

Project Delivery & Enhancements
  • Support SAP-related projects, including system upgrades, enhancements, and transformation initiatives.
  • Develop functional specifications, coordinate testing (unit, integration, UAT), and support deployments.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to drive efficiency, automation, and accuracy.

Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience
Assoicate Business Technology Analyst
  • 0-2 years of experience in a related field or relevant internship experienceStrong analytical and organizational skills, with problem-solving capabilitiesAbility to communicate effectively (written and verbal)Experience facilitating requirement gathering and supporting business process design for system enhancements.

Business Technology Analyst
3+ years of experience working in or supporting a finance organization, with exposure to financial systems and processes.
  • Familiarity with SAP FI/CO capabilities or comparable financial systems, including general exposure to core finance functions such as GL, AP, or AR.
  • Strong understanding of finance business processes and accounting principles.
  • Experience with system integrations and data flows across enterprise platforms.
  • Business and technical acumen
  • Ability to communicate and engage effectively with stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Process improvement mindset
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, high-availability environment.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Exposure to SAP S/4HANA functionality or modernization initiatives is a plus.
  • Familiarity with electronic payment processing platforms and integrations (e.g., Paymentus or similar billing/payment solutions).
  • Experience with reporting platforms (Power BI, Snowflake).
  • Experience supporting SOX-compliant environments.

Education Requirements
Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:
Bachelor (Relevant combination of education and equivalent work experience in SAP Finance module support may be considered in lieu of a degree.)
Advanced degree (MBA or Master's in Information Systems, Finance, or Accounting) is a plus.
Preferred disciplines: Information Systems, Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
Licenses, Certifications, and Quals Description
Professional certifications are preferred but not required, such as:
  • SAP certification (FI/CO or S/4HANA Finance)
  • CPA, CMA, or related finance/accounting credentials
  • IT or business analysis certifications (e.g., CBAP, PMI-PBA)
