• Conduct initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients to determine their mental health status and specific therapy needs.
• Create and implement personalized therapy plans that utilize evidence-based practices tailored to each individual’s circumstances.
• Facilitate regular counseling sessions with clients, employing various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused approaches.
• Assist clients in mastering coping strategies and self-care techniques to manage their mental health conditions effectively.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and social workers, to ensure well-rounded care for clients requiring multidimensional support.
• Document all client interactions and treatment plans in compliance with health regulations using our electronic health record (EHR) system.
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current with best practices in mental health care.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Hopeful Horizons, you will work with a diverse clientele facing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to substance use disorders, anxiety, depression, and eating disorders. You will cater to individuals from different backgrounds, adapting your therapeutic approaches to meet their unique cultural and personal circumstances. This role allows you to make a meaningful impact by supporting clients in overcoming their struggles and fostering their resilience.

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A valid state license as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
• A minimum of four years of relevant mental health counseling experience.
• A comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Experience providing both individual therapy and group counseling using inclusive and culturally responsive techniques.
• Proficient crisis intervention skills with an ability to remain composed in high-stress scenarios.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of building rapport with individuals from varied backgrounds.
• Experience in using EHR systems efficiently to document client information and treatment plans.
• A strong commitment to maintaining professional ethics, confidentiality, and boundaries.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary care team.

• Previous telehealth counseling experience, especially with a focus on remote engagement and client retention.
• Background in working with specialized populations such as children, adolescents, or geriatric clients.
