RN - NICU

Providence Saint Mary Medical Center- Apple Valley is seeking an experienced RN for their NICU. This is a travel position with a start date of ASAP. The shift is from 07:00 AM to 07:30 PM, with three shifts per week and a total of 36 scheduled hours. The duration of the assignment is 13 weeks, from August 25, 2026, to November 24, 2026.

The NICU RN will work in a level III NICU with 190 births per month. The schedule includes every other weekend, with the possibility of exceeding every other weekend to meet unit needs. The candidate must have two years of experience, with at least one year in the NICU specialty. Certifications required include BCLS, NRP, and PALS. The candidate must commit to working three of the five holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) and must request all RTO/specific scheduling requests upfront during submittal.

The facility does not accept Nursys or BG hits for background checks. References required: two references covering one year within the last three years. Travelers may be expected to float between sister facilities nearby. The candidate must have a compact state license and must be within a 50-mile local radius.
