About the role
The Network Operations Administrator is responsible for supporting the stability, performance, and security of critical network infrastructure across internal systems and customer environments. This role monitors network health, responds to incidents, troubleshoots connectivity and performance issues, and escalates complex problems as needed. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, technically curious, and thrives in a fast-paced operations environment focused on uptime, reliability, and customer experience.
Location: Remote | Onsite available in Lansing, MI
Employment type: Permanent, Full-time
Pay Range: $25 - $30 per hour overtime eligible
What you'll do
  • Monitor network and system health using automated tools and dashboards
  • Respond to alerts, incidents, and service requests in accordance with established procedures and SLAs
  • Perform routine maintenance and operational tasks for network and related systems
  • Assist with installation, configuration, and administration of LAN/WAN environments and networking hardware
  • Provide customer connectivity support via phone and ticketing systems
  • Troubleshoot basic network and server-related issues and escalate as appropriate
  • Document incidents, resolutions, and operational processes in internal systems
  • Maintain and update internal documentation (knowledge base, runbooks, etc.)

What you bring
  • Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 2+ years of relevant experience in network or systems operations

  • Working knowledge of Linux environments and LAMP stack fundamentals
