Job description

CCNA Certification is a must

Onsite 3-4 days a week, flexible once started 

The schedule is primarily three days onsite. Flexibility for up to five days onsite and adjusted working hours may be required to support deployment schedules.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Day 2 support across more than 20 monitoring platforms, including Cisco Catalyst Center and other network monitoring tools, while learning established operational procedures and processes.
  • Stand up and configure servers and laboratory environments, including ISO deployment, network configuration, operating system installation, and software deployment.
  • Perform physical infrastructure activities including server installation, cabling, wiring, and IP address configuration.
  • Support system administration functions such as user provisioning and device onboarding within monitoring and management platforms.
  • Partner with senior engineers to follow documented procedures and progressively assume greater ownership of operational activities, ticket handling, and issue resolution.
  • Create and maintain detailed technical documentation using OneNote, Outlook, Google Docs, and Google Workspace tools.
  • Develop work plans and deployment documentation to support communication and coordination with manufacturing plants and remote sites.
  • Complete deployment request forms and support implementation planning activities.
  • Assist with troubleshooting, operational support requests, and ongoing platform maintenance as responsibilities expand over time.
  • Work independently while conducting technical research and documenting findings and solutions. Qualifications

Required Qualifications

  • CCNA certification
  • Working knowledge of networking fundamentals including cabling, switching, routing, NetFlow, Quality of Service, IPv6, DNS, IP addressing, and routing configuration.
  • Hands on experience with Cisco Catalyst Center and network or systems monitoring platforms.
  • Experience supporting Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Strong documentation skills with the ability to create clear technical procedures and knowledge transfer materials.
  • Ability to work independently and perform self-directed technical research.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage changing priorities and aggressive timelines.
  • Comfortable performing physical infrastructure tasks in addition to software and systems configuration activities.
