The Senior Technician, Calibration will be responsible for the installation, configuration, testing, calibration, maintenance, and repair of instrumentation in the Calibration program. The instrumentation includes but not limited to temperature, pressure, analytical, speed, mass, dimensional, flow, relative humidity devices, lab equipment, and safety devices. The job duties are assigned on an individual basis as determined by what is best for the Calibration Group and company needs.

Duties & Responsibilities
  • Maintains production process instrumentation supporting production schedules and quality requirements. Duty may include additional operations equipment.
  • Follows Company policy and SOP's relative to all aspects of this position including financial, environmental health and safety, training etc.
  • Coordinates with Planner/Scheduler and supervisors to ensure that adequate scheduling information is communicated and that work orders are completed within compliance windows.
  • Troubleshoots and implements corrective action where instrumentation experiences performance issues.
  • Supports training of production & maintenance personnel relative to operations and care of instrumentation.
  • Assists and supports engineering projects involving instrumentation applications relative to all facets of design, scope, performance parameters, testing and implementation.
Requirements
  • Two-year Trade School/Associate's degree in calibration, electrical, electro-mechanical, or relevant degree with a minimum of three (3) years' experience in calibration/calibrating equipment in a manufacturing or similar environment.
  • OR
  • High school degree or GED and a minimum of five (5) years' experience in calibration/calibrating equipment in a manufacturing or similar environment.
  • Preferences include advanced knowledge of pharma process and utility systems, ISA CCST certification, ASQ CCT certification, Commercial or military PMEL or TDME experience, Understanding of PLC systems, BMS & SCADA systems knowledge, understanding of ISO 17025.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and database applications.
  • Preferred experience with SAP, CMX, Trackwise.

  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without restriction.
  • Must be willing to take a drug test and post-offer physical (if required).
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
