Job description

This role focuses on supporting, maintaining, and troubleshooting enterprise network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points. The successful candidate will work closely with regional and remote teams to diagnose and resolve connectivity issues across LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and SD-WAN environments. You will also manage firewall policies, coordinate circuit provisioning, and monitor network performance to ensure optimal operation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and troubleshoot enterprise network infrastructure, including firewalls, switches, and wireless access points.
  • Diagnose and resolve issues across LAN, WAN, WLAN, VPN, and SD-WAN environments, ensuring connectivity for regional and remote locations.
  • Administer and troubleshoot firewall policies and VPN solutions, including site-to-site IPsec and SSL VPN.
  • Monitor network performance and analyze traffic patterns, performing packet captures to resolve connectivity and application performance issues.
  • Execute approved network changes and maintain documentation and network diagrams according to established standards.
  • Manage Jira support tickets and provide branch and field support, participating in on-call rotations as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience supporting enterprise network and IT infrastructure environments.
  • Previous experience as a Network Administrator, Network Support Engineer, or similar technical role.
  • Experience troubleshooting switching, routing, firewalls, wireless networking, and VPN technologies.
  • Strong understanding of network troubleshooting methodologies, incident management, and operational support processes.
  • Hands-on experience with Fortinet platforms is a plus.
  • Proficiency with network monitoring and troubleshooting tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, Zabbix, and Wireshark.
