Job description

S&S Tire, a leading independent tire distributor, is seeking an onsite Network and Security Specialist to support and secure our multi-site network across warehouse and office locations. This role ensures reliable connectivity, protects systems, and supports day-to-day operations in a fast-paced distribution environment.
Responsibilities
• Maintain and support network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, VPN, wireless) across locations
• Monitor performance and troubleshoot network issues impacting operations
• Implement and manage security tools (firewalls, endpoint protection, IDS/IPS)
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and respond to security incidents
• Support secure remote access and user access controls
• Assist with system integrations, backups, and disaster recovery
Requirements
Qualifications
• 2+ years of network and/or cybersecurity experience
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs
• Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network security tools
