Job description

NET Developer

The.NET Developer will work with IT, Project Managers, End Users and outside vendors in order to meet development objectives for various software packages primarily for internal business systems. Duties include developing software to support automation of department services, creating documentation of department processes and software, troubleshooting issues, suggesting improvements, implementing and helping administer technology for the department, and assisting users with the use of department technology.

Responsibilities
  • Application development for custom applications, business process automation, and department systems and applications
  • Client billable work including client source code review setup, and data analysis and reporting
  • SQL development and query writing
  • Troubleshooting user issues and outages and supporting department systems and applications
  • Duties related to storage include: Requests for new volumes, reviewing space reports, generate alerts, storage billing reporting, fix/maintain Client roots, troubleshoot NTFS permissions, and perform data migrations
  • Respond to incoming queries in ticketing system for various operational and development requests
  • Act as a liaison with the IT department for dealing with department operational issues and troubleshooting
  • Document systems and processes, and update existing documentation as changes are implemented
Requirements
  • 2+ years of experience with .NET Development, ideally focusing on C# and/or ASP.NET for back-end development
  • Experience working with applications with a SQL Server back-end
  • Experience writing SQL queries
Nice To Haves
  • Powershell or other scripting experience
  • SQL Server administration
  • Experience with version control software
  • Bachelor's Degree, ideally in an Information Technology related field
