Job description

This Music & Arts HR Manager Position will be a primarily remote position. Locations of interest for home base would be Pennsylvania, Virginia, and Frederick, Maryland area. This position requires approximately 25-30% Travel.
The Music & Arts Regional Human Resources Manager works closely and consultatively with Human Resources and Store Operations leaders in the following areas: (a) labor relations (b) employee relations; (c) employee development; (d) statutory and policy compliance; (e) investigations and related activities.
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
  • Assist field management in resolving varied and potentially complex employee relations matters
  • Conduct timely, accurate investigations as needed
  • Audit the execution of company human resource management policies and directives, and compliance with federal, state and local employment and wage and hour statutes.
  • Assist with the tracking and measurement of key field talent management and retention initiatives.
  • Consult with line leaders on all performance assessment, performance improvement, and general talent development initiatives. This includes facilitating individual and group workshops to train and retain high-potential leadership.
  • Manage and support the talent pipeline through workforce and career planning.
  • Provide individual and group training to develop and enhance respectful working environments at all business locations.

  • Perform additional related duties as required and/or assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS & SPECIAL ATTRIBUTES
  • Bachelor's Degree is required, preferably in Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Valid state driver's license and automotive insurance.
  • 8 years of relevant work experience (in addition to degree or years of previous experience)
  • 3 years of experience managing a department, function, product, or project
  • 3 years of labor relations experience within a retail environment
  • 5-7 years of employee relations experience within a retail environment
  • Advanced knowledge of US labor laws
  • Advanced proficiency in conflict prevention and resolution

Pay Rate: $95,000 - $130,000 / annually depending on background and experience.
