Requisition ID2026-4381Job Summary

Artemis is seeking a full-time Project Manager with demonstrated experience supporting media monitoring, multimedia, and strategic communications contracts in the federal sector. The Project Manger will support day-to-day management of a federal contract, with responsibility for coordinating scope, schedule, risk, financial tracking, media monitoring operations, vendor relationships, and multimedia development activities.

This role requires a self-starter, proactive problem solver, and action-oriented team player with experience managing federal communications, media monitoring, digital production, and vendor-supported service delivery. This position requires an individual who is organized, client-service oriented, able to manage competing priorities during routine and high-visibility disaster periods, and committed to delivering accurate, timely, and compliant products for government stakeholders.

This is a contingent hire position.

This position is fully remote. However, some travel for client meetings and/or video shoots may be required.

Due to the delivery timeline for a major deliverable, early morning hours may be required.

Primary Responsibilities
  • Serve as the day-to-day project management lead for a media monitoring and multimedia development project.
  • Manage contract scope, schedule, risks, issues, quality, communications, staffing coordination, and financial tracking to support successful Firm Fixed Price performance.
  • Maintain an integrated work plan and delivery calendar covering Meltwater platform support, media monitoring, daily media sweeps, e-clipping delivery, analytics reporting, press release distribution, and multimedia production activities.
  • Coordinate with government points of contact, subject matter experts, Meltwater representatives, and internal creative and communications staff to prioritize work and resolve delivery issues.
  • Manage the Meltwater relationship, including platform access for up to 20 SBA users, training coordination, user administration, report/dashboard needs, troubleshooting, and vendor escalations.
  • Oversee media monitoring operations to ensure relevant daily sweeps, accurate e-clipping reports, working hyperlinks, appropriate search parameters, and timely delivery by 9:00 a.m. ET, Monday through Friday excluding federal holidays.
  • Support media monitoring and analytics reporting that includes reach/impressions, engagement, sentiment, share of voice, pickups, social media metrics, Google Analytics integration where applicable, and other performance indicators.
  • Oversee multimedia and digital production assignments, including graphics, infographics, reels, social media posts, animated elements, digital flyers, and high-level videos for social and digital platforms.
  • Track annual production targets and coordinate approvals, version control, quality assurance, and delivery of final digital assets to the government.
  • Plan for surge requirements during high-visibility disasters, including additional clippings, adjusted monitoring parameters, holiday coverage requests, and rapid-turn multimedia or reporting needs.
  • Prepare and maintain status reports, meeting agendas, action item logs, risk and issue registers, schedule updates, financial/burn tracking, and client-ready communications as requested.
  • Ensure deliverables align with PWS requirements, client messaging guidelines, Section 508 accessibility expectations, information security requirements, and applicable contract procedures.
Minimum Qualifications
  • 4 years of experience managing projects, programs, or task orders in communications, public affairs, digital media, emergency management, management consulting, or a related field.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, business, or a related field.
  • Experience coordinating media monitoring, social listening, analytics reporting, press release distribution, media databases, or related communications platforms.
  • Experience working within the Meltwater platform, preferred.
  • Experience overseeing multimedia or digital content production, including videos, graphics, infographics, social media assets, or other external-facing digital products.
  • Strong client relationship management, vendor coordination, meeting facilitation, documentation, and written/oral communication skills.
  • Ability to manage competing deadlines, changing priorities, and surge requirements during high-visibility, urgent communications efforts.
  • Working knowledge of digital accessibility, plain-language communications, and quality assurance practices for public-facing materials.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance or federal suitability determination.
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
Desired Qualifications
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical and time management skills.
  • Proven ability to organize, prioritize and work well with others.
  • Ability to communicate thoughts, ideas and solutions logically both written and orally.
  • Ability to stay calm under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to receive feedback from clients and implement changes quickly and effectively.
  • Ability to get up to speed quickly on complex issues.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced, rapidly evolving environment.
