We are seeking a motivated and results-oriented Sales Project Manager to support the growth of our Manual Valve business across capital projects and strategic end-user accounts. This role is responsible for identifying, developing, quoting, and managing valve opportunities from specification through order execution while collaborating with manufacturers, EPC firms, end users, and internal sales teams.
The ideal candidate possesses 3+ years of relevant industrial sales, valve, PVF, or process equipment experience and can confidently manage opportunities with minimal supervision. This individual should be capable of building relationships, driving sourcing strategies, coordinating competitive quotations, and supporting customer requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
This is a remote role that will support theSoutheast. Our ideal candidate must be inthecentral or eastern time zone, preferably within easy commuting distance of locations inTN, AL,KY, MS, LA, NC, SC, GA, FL, VA.
Responsibilities
  • Manage manual valve opportunities for capital projects from initial inquiry through order fulfillment.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with end users, EPCs, contractors, and strategic manufacturing partners.
  • Collaborate with local sales teams to drive customer preference, project visibility, and specification influence.
  • Source and evaluate competitive valve solutions while balancing technical requirements, lead times, and commercial objectives.
  • Prepare quotations, review project specifications, and coordinate bid responses.
  • Track project opportunities and maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management.
  • Support day-to-day MRO valve requirements as needed.
  • Serve as a technical and commercial resource for customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with operations, procurement, and manufacturers to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a high level of responsiveness and professionalism while managing multiple customer opportunities simultaneously.
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of industrial sales, valve, PVF, process equipment, or related experience preferred.
  • Strong understanding of industrial valve applications and project sales processes is highly desirable.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and manage multiple opportunities simultaneously.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience working with EPC firms, end users, contractors, or industrial manufacturers is a plus.
