• Provide high-quality counseling, psychotherapy, and case management in individual or group settings, respecting client confidentiality and maintaining professional boundaries.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, setting clear and achievable goals tailored to their unique needs.
• Facilitate crisis intervention to support clients facing acute mental health challenges, such as suicidal thoughts, severe anxiety, or substance abuse issues.
• Advocate for clients by connecting them with essential resources, including financial aid, community services, housing support, and other necessary referral services.
• Engage in community outreach and educational initiatives to promote mental health awareness and destigmatize mental health issues, showcasing our clinic's commitment to community well-being.
• Document case notes, assessments, treatment plans, and progress in adherence to HIPAA regulations and clinic policies, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Participate in regular supervision and mentorship sessions aimed at enhancing clinical skills and personal growth in therapeutic practices.

As a Clinical Social Worker at St. Mary's, you will work with diverse populations, including individuals and families from various socioeconomic backgrounds each facing unique challenges. Your interventions will empower clients dealing with mental health disorders, relationship issues, trauma, addiction, and life transitions. You will be instrumental in guiding clients to realize their potential and improve their overall quality of life.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program.
• Current licensing as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Virginia to practice independently.
• Proficient understanding of clinical concepts, models, and evidence-based therapeutic techniques with a focus on mental health.
• Ability to approach client care with compassion, empathy, and cultural competence, respecting the diverse backgrounds of clients.
• Exemplary verbal and written communication skills essential for building therapeutic relationships and documenting clinical cases.

• At least two years of direct clinical experience providing therapy to individuals, couples, or families within a mental health setting.
• Utilization of electronic health records (EHR) systems for patient documentation and management.
• Engagement in professional development opportunities and continued education in mental health practices and methodologies.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $90,000 to $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
