About the Role
As an Key Account Manager - MSP at NinjaOne, you will play a critical role in fostering long-term partnerships with our largest and most strategic Managed Service Provider (MSP) accounts. You'll serve as the primary point of contact for key MSP clients, ensuring they maximize the value of NinjaOne's solutions to drive efficiency, profitability, and service excellence for their end customers.
Your deep understanding of the MSP business model will enable you to act as a trusted advisor, helping partners scale their operations, optimize IT service delivery, and uncover new revenue opportunities. You'll identify cross-sell and up-sell potential, drive product adoption, and help our partners expand their service offerings with NinjaOne's suite of IT management solutions.
This role requires a strong background in MSP account management, IT solutions selling, and customer success, with a proven track record of managing high-value, partner-driven accounts.
Location: Hybrid in-office (Tampa, FL or Austin, TX) - 3 days per week (Mon, Tues, Thurs)
What You'll Be Doing
  • Strategic MSP Growth: Manage a portfolio of high-value MSP partners, focusing on expanding NinjaOne's footprint within their client base and helping them scale their managed services.
  • Partner Success & Enablement: Act as a trusted advisor to MSP owners and technical teams, guiding them on best practices, automation strategies, and service delivery optimization.
  • Cross-Sell & Up-Sell Strategy: Identify opportunities to enhance MSP offerings by promoting NinjaOne's full product suite, including RMM, endpoint management, security tools, and automation features.
  • Consultative Selling: Understand MSP business challenges and provide tailored solutions to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
  • Account Management & Retention: Maintain ongoing engagement with MSP partners, ensuring they stay informed about product updates, new features, and industry trends that impact their business.
  • Forecasting & Reporting: Utilize Salesforce to track partner performance, pipeline opportunities, and revenue forecasting. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution.
  • MSP Market Intelligence: Stay up to date on MSP industry trends, competitor offerings, and evolving IT needs, positioning NinjaOne as a critical component of a partner's technology stack.

About You
  • MSP Expertise: You have experience managing MSP accounts, with a deep understanding of their business model, pricing structures, and service delivery challenges.
  • Proven Sales & Growth Track Record: You've successfully expanded revenue within MSP partnerships, identified upsell/cross-sell opportunities, and helped partners scale their businesses.
  • Consultative Approach: You excel at understanding MSP needs and aligning IT solutions to drive their success.
  • Exceptional Communication Skills: You can engage effectively with MSP owners, service managers, and technical teams, translating complex IT concepts into business value discussions.
  • Problem-Solver: You proactively address challenges, mitigate risks, and guide partners through service transformation initiatives.
  • IT Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with MSP tools like RMM, PSA, and cybersecurity solutions is a strong plus.
  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred): Or equivalent experience in IT, Business, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce & CRM Best Practices.
