We are searching for a dedicated and licensed mental health therapist (LMFT, LCSW, LPCC) to join Serene Behavioral Health Group Inc. You will collaborate closely with fellow clinicians, psychiatrists, and addiction specialists through digital communication tools and video conferencing, ensuring integrated care delivery. • Conduct thorough, individualized assessments to understand clients' mental health and substance use challenges, specifically identifying co-occurring disorders to tailor treatment approaches.
• Collaborate with patients to create detailed and personalized treatment plans that prioritize evidence-based therapies, incorporating techniques such as Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
• Provide both individual and group therapy, helping clients develop essential coping strategies, effective relapse prevention plans, and enhance their emotional regulation skills.
• Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive client care, frequently engaging with psychiatrists and addiction specialists to optimize treatment strategies.
• Monitor clients' substance use and offer motivational interviewing sessions to sustain their commitment to recovery.
• Deliver educational resources to clients and families regarding the dual nature of mental health and substance use disorders, reinforcing the significance of adherence to treatment plans.
• Document treatment interventions, client progress, and referrals accurately and promptly, adhering to ethical standards and legal requirements.
• Participate in interdisciplinary case conferences and staff meetings, contributing insights to enhance our collaborative approach to treatment.

This role targets individuals with co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders, a demographic that often faces significant barriers to achieving recovery. By applying a client-centered approach, you will facilitate tailored care plans that resonate with their unique circumstances, enhancing engagement and treatment outcomes.

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of California.
• Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based practices for treating co-occurring disorders, with particular expertise in Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
• A solid understanding of the intricate relationship between mental health conditions and substance use issues.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills that facilitate effective collaboration within a multidisciplinary team setting.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in a clinical setting focused on treating co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.
• Strong background in crisis intervention and risk assessment techniques.
• Experience with telehealth platforms and virtual care methodologies is highly desirable.

This position offers a competitive salary range between USD 115,000 and 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
