Position Overview

Gotham Enterprises Ltd is on the lookout for a dedicated and qualified Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our integrated care team in a fully remote position. The ideal candidate will have a passion for improving the mental health and well-being of individuals facing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. This role is pivotal in providing comprehensive assessments, personalized treatment plans, and effective therapies that foster recovery and holistic well-being.

About the Organization

At Gotham Enterprises Ltd, we pride ourselves on offering an integrated outpatient care model that aims to serve individuals with complex mental health needs. Our dedicated team collaborates across disciplines to provide innovative strategies and evidence-based practices. In our Hiko, Nevada location, we ensure that every team member contributes to a supportive environment where clients can thrive. We understand that mental health and substance use are intricately linked, and we are committed to delivering care that addresses both simultaneously.

Work Environment

This position is fully remote with a flexible schedule, making it easier to balance personal and professional commitments. Although the primary work hours are Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., there may be occasional evening hours required to accommodate client appointments. Our telehealth facility ensures that you can interact effectively with clients and the multidisciplinary team through secure and user-friendly virtual platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments that evaluate clients' mental health status and substance use disorders, identifying any co-occurring issues to support comprehensive care.
  • Collaborate with clients to create tailored treatment plans utilizing best practices and evidence-based therapies that specifically cater to the dual needs of mental health and substance use.
  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that aim to empower clients with coping mechanisms, relapse prevention tactics, and emotional regulation strategies.
  • Work closely with a multidisciplinary team—including psychiatrists, nursing staff, and addiction specialists—ensuring a robust and cohesive approach to patient care.
  • Implement routine substance use monitoring measures and utilize motivational interviewing techniques to encourage client engagement and commitment to treatment.
  • Educate clients and their families on the critical relationship between mental health and substance use, highlighting the importance of consistent treatment adherence.
  • Maintain detailed and timely documentation of client progress, interventions, and referrals in compliance with relevant ethical and legal standards.
  • Engage in team meetings, case conferences, and training sessions to enhance your skills and knowledge in treating co-occurring disorders.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will support are those struggling with a range of mental health challenges alongside substance use issues. By addressing both of these components holistically, you will be a critical player in helping them navigate their recovery journeys. Your role will significantly impact their lives, helping them achieve sustainable, long-term recovery and improved quality of life.

Qualifications
  • A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Nevada.
  • Demonstrable proficiency in evidence-based treatment methodologies for co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
  • A strong understanding of how mental health and substance use disorders interrelate, with the ability to apply this knowledge in a clinical setting.
  • Exemplary interpersonal skills, supporting effective collaboration within a diverse and interdisciplinary team.
Preferred Experience
  • At least two (2) years of experience in a mental health counseling setting, particularly with clients exhibiting co-occurring disorders.
  • Experience working in a telehealth environment is a plus, enabling you to adapt quickly to our remote work model.
  • Prior exposure to integrated care frameworks will enhance your effectiveness in this role.
Compensation and Benefits

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 75,000 to 100,000, complemented by a sign-on bonus. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:

  • Full medical, dental, and vision coverage to support your health and wellness.
  • A retirement savings plan with employer matching, ensuring your financial security.
  • Generous paid time off (PTO) policies and holiday allowances, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.
  • Opportunities for professional development, including specialized training in techniques for integrated care.
  • A collaborative work environment that prioritizes teamwork and personal growth.
Career Growth Opportunities

Joining Gotham Enterprises Ltd not only places you in a rewarding clinical role but also opens avenues for professional growth. You’ll have access to ongoing training and development programs aimed at broadening your expertise in integrated care approaches, which can lead to advancement opportunities within our organization.

Why Join Our Team
