ReGain Law Firm combines legal expertise with a trauma-informed approach, ensuring clients receive both strong advocacy and compassionate guidance. The firm emphasizes strategic planning, emotional awareness, and clear communication to help clients safeguard their rights and interests throughout the divorce process.


Role Description The Associate Attorney will provide counsel and representation to clients involved in high-conflict family law matters, including divorces from narcissistic partners and cases involving emotional abuse, coercive control, or manipulation.


Day-to-day responsibilities include meeting with clients to assess their needs, conducting legal research, drafting pleadings and motions, preparing discovery, and collaborating on case strategy with the senior attorney. The role also involves negotiating settlements, participating in court appearances and hearings, and coordinating with mental health and financial professionals when appropriate.


The Associate Attorney will maintain clear, empathetic communication with clients and uphold firm standards for ethics, professionalism, and client care.


This is a full-time, hybrid role based in Scottsdale, AZ, with a mix of in-office work and some work-from-home flexibility.


Qualifications

  • Strong foundation in Law, with experience or interest in family law and high-conflict litigation.
  • Ability to provide clear, practical Legal Advice and guidance tailored to clients experiencing emotional distress or manipulation.
  • Proficient in legal Research, including case law, statutes, and procedural rules relevant to family law and related matters.
  • Skilled in Negotiation, including settlement discussions, mediation, and conflict resolution with challenging opposing parties.
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school and active Arizona bar license in good standing and at least 3 years experience in the legal field.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong drafting abilities and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated empathy, emotional intelligence, and resilience when working with clients experiencing trauma or high-stress situations.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases, meet deadlines, and collaborate effectively in a small, mission-driven team environment.


Benefits

In exchange, we are offering a $90-120,000 salary, depending on experience. You will also get all court holidays off, as well as up to three (3) weeks of paid time off for you to utilize any way you would like.
