  • Collaborate with application engineers and business development team members.
  • Participate in training (initial 2–4 weeks, including time in HQ and potential Japan trips for high performers).

Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in industrial automation sales, selling components or capital equipment to manufacturing clients.
  • Must have knowledge of balls screws and linear bearings
  • Proven "hunter" mentality—comfortable with proactive new business development.
  • Strong communication, relationship-building, and networking skills.
  • Proficiency with CRM systems and Excel (diligent with data entry and reporting).
  • Willingness and ability to travel (6+ nights/month in hotels; up to 2 weeks/month on the road).
  • Valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle.

Preferred Requirements

  • Direct experience selling linear motion products (ball screws, linear bearings, actuators).
  • Related experience selling manufacturing components (e.g., bearings, motors, power transmission, fasteners).
  • Associate's or Bachelor's Degree (engineering or business preferred, but not strictly required).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Base salary: $85,000–$105,000 (for 4–5 years relevant experience); up to $130,000 for highly experienced candidates (10–15+ years with strong industry network).
  • Guaranteed annual bonus
  • Commission: 2% of sales above a set trigger
  • Special commissions
  • Company car (personal use allowed, taxable benefit), company credit card (for gas, travel, meals), cell phone, and laptop provided.
  • Per diem for overnight travel: $45 (first/last day), $60 (middle days)
