Job description

We are looking for a Senior Motion Designer to work on our concept, design and produce compelling 3D and 2D graphics/animations, to be used online, in-store and in television broadcast.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Create motion graphics and animations that clearly illustrate the features and benefits of new and emerging technologies and devices

  • Work with Communications, Marketing and Engineering staff to plan, manage and complete compelling work

  • Work with project managers and others to hit critical deadlines and initiatives

OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Remain current on new tools, methods and technologies within the motion graphic design field

  • Act as mentor on motion graphic team

  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

  • Bachelors Degree in Motion Design/Animation or related

  • Must possess a minimum of 5 years professional motion graphic design experience

  • Must be team-oriented; possess a positive attitude, a strong work ethic and ability to work well with others (collaborate)

  • Must possess strong design and concepting skills

  • Must possess experience leading/directing motion graphics in collaboration with other designers and production professionals

  • Must possess experience presenting creative to clients in a way they can easily understand

  • Must possess strong proficiency working with visual effects; motion tracking; compositing and rotoscoping

  • Demonstrated proficiency with After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator or other equivalent

  • Must possess a portfolio-reel demonstrating exceptional understanding and use of motion, imagery, layout, design, color, texture and typography

  • Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills

  • Must be a self-starter, detail-oriented, with the ability to work proactively and independently with minimal supervision

  • Superior organizational and analytical skills with keen attention to detail and quality

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

  • After Effects expressions or equivalent

  • Mocha Pro or equivalent

  • Cinema 4D or equivalent

  • Video production experience a plus
