Position Description & Requirements
POSITION SUMMARY
RP Florida, a Radiology Partners practice, is currently seeking board-certified or board-eligible General/Emergency Radiologists for flexible, remote 1099 opportunities. This position offers the freedom to work from home in a noncommittal, shift-based role. We are very flexible with our shift scheduling and have no minimum work-volume thresholds.
Position Highlights:
  • Flexible work model: Choose from full shifts (8-9 hours) or short shifts (4 hours). No minimum RVUs/work units are required. Choose your own shifts when it works best for you
  • Competitive compensation rates based on daytime, evening, or overnight shift times
  • Malpractice coverage provided, including tail coverage
  • Florida license required
  • Diverse case mix: Includes outpatient, ER, and inpatient reads
  • Licensure support: Dedicated credentialing specialists to streamline onboarding
  • Collaborative practice environment: Access to clinical and technical support

LOCAL PRACTICE AND COMMUNITY OVERVIEW
RP Florida serves 8 HCA hospitals and multiple freestanding emergency rooms across the Greater Tampa region and Florida's Gulf Coast. We provide expertise across all major radiology subspecialties, offering both on-site and remote reading services, along with a variety of procedural cases. Our team-based model fosters exceptional patient care through the strategic use of shared resources, state-of-the-art technology, and comprehensive support at both the national and local levels. By joining this team, you'll become a member of a well-supported, physician-led, and highly collegial group!
DESIRED PROFESSIONAL SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Candidates must be a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine and be residency trained in Diagnostic Radiology
  • Board-eligible or board-certified by the American Board of Radiology or the American Osteopathic Board of Radiology
  • Medical license or the ability to obtain a license in the state of Florida

COMPENSATION:
The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $1,000,000. Final determinations may vary based on several factors, including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, geographic location, etc.
