• Conduct comprehensive assessments and clinical evaluations to assess clients' mental health needs and aspirations, ensuring thorough documentation and follow-up.
• Facilitate one-on-one counseling sessions to address a variety of mental health issues, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and stress-related disorders.
• Lead couples and family therapy sessions focused on enhancing communication, resolving conflicts, and improving relationships within the family unit.
• Create personalized treatment plans that reflect clients' unique goals and objectives, integrating evidence-based interventions tailored to individual needs.
• Provide crisis intervention services and support during critical moments, helping clients navigate immediate mental health challenges effectively.
• Educate clients and families on mental health conditions, treatment options, coping techniques, and resources available for additional support.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential client records to comply with legal and ethical standards, documenting assessments, treatment strategies, and client progress.
• Adhere to ethical guidelines and legal requirements, ensuring the highest level of professionalism in your practice.

Your primary focus will be on a diverse client population, including adults, children, and families seeking mental health support. Clients may present with a variety of concerns ranging from mild anxiety to more complex psychological issues. Your compassionate approach and strong therapeutic skill set will be instrumental in guiding them through their mental health journeys while promoting their overall well-being.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey.
• A proven track record of strong clinical experience in counseling practices.

• Previous experience in an outpatient community health setting.

St. Claire Behavioral Health Center offers an attractive salary range of USD 75,000 to 90,000 annually, along with performance-based bonus opportunities.
