Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct secure and confidential remote therapy sessions using telehealth technology, ensuring a safe space for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings.
  • Perform thorough assessments to evaluate clients' relational dynamics and mental health concerns, crafting individualized treatment plans that align with their unique goals.
  • Implement family systems therapy techniques to effectively address communication issues, address conflict, and navigate challenges that families may face.
  • Provide immediate crisis intervention and support, when necessary, to prioritize client and family safety and well-being.
  • Maintain comprehensive and accurate electronic client records, including progress notes and treatment plans, in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Teach clients valuable skills in effective communication, conflict resolution, and coping strategies, empowering them to strengthen their relationships.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated virtual team to enhance client care and support professional development, sharing insights and best practices.
  • Engage in ongoing education and training to remain current on the latest research and methodologies in marriage and family therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will interact with a diverse clientele, including individuals and families facing various relational challenges and mental health issues. Your expertise will be crucial in fostering understanding and healing among clients from different backgrounds, ensuring culturally competent care tailored to each unique situation.

Qualifications
  • A current and valid license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in your practicing location.
  • A Master's degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of two years of related experience in therapeutic practice.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, particularly suited for effective remote sessions.
  • A demonstrated commitment to ethical practices and maintaining client confidentiality.
  • Self-driven with the ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.

Preferred Experience
