• Conduct thorough client assessments to understand their needs, strengths, and support systems, leading to tailored treatment plans.
• Provide individual and group therapy sessions using evidence-based practices that promote personal growth and recovery.
• Respond effectively to crisis situations, employing de-escalation techniques and immediate support interventions for clients in distress.
• Monitor treatment progress via regular follow-ups, adjusting therapeutic techniques as necessary to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
• Advocate for clients by connecting them with community resources such as housing, financial assistance, and healthcare services, facilitating holistic recovery.
• Document client interactions meticulously in accordance with regulatory standards, ensuring confidentiality and compliance throughout the therapeutic process.

Your primary focus will be on individuals at various stages of substance use recovery, including those entering and transitioning out of detox programs. You will encounter a diverse array of backgrounds and experiences, enriching your professional practice. Your ability to connect empathetically with clients facing challenging circumstances will be key to fostering trust and effective therapeutic relationships.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field is required.
• At least two years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting, preferably with a focus on addiction or mental health.
• Current and active Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) credential.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with clients and colleagues.
• A solid understanding of trauma-informed care and cultural competence is essential.

• Experience or training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is highly valued, as it aligns well with our therapeutic approach.
• Familiarity with telehealth best practices for remote client engagement and therapy delivery.
• Previous experience working within a detox or substance abuse facility is a plus.
