• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to understand clients' unique mental health statuses and develop individualized treatment plans that reflect their specific needs and goals.
• Provide evidence-based individual therapy sessions to adult clients, utilizing techniques that prioritize positive outcomes and overall well-being. This includes implementing solution-focused and cognitive-behavioral approaches tailored to client circumstances.
• Deliver remote therapy services via teleconferencing technology, ensuring clients have continuous access to mental health support regardless of physical location.

• Engage in continuous education and professional development activities to remain updated with the latest practices within the mental health field, aiding in improved treatment effectiveness.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions and progress updates while adhering to all regulatory and ethical guidelines.

Our clinic serves a wide array of clients, primarily adults facing various mental health challenges that may include anxiety disorders, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. We aim to create a safe, non-judgmental space for all clients, understanding their unique experiences and guiding them toward self-discovery and healing.

• Possession of a current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), with eligibility to provide therapy services in New York.
• A master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required for this position.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential for establishing rapport with clients and collaborating effectively with colleagues.
• An empathetic, compassionate mindset conducive to supporting clients’ diverse backgrounds and mental health needs.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage caseloads efficiently, balancing client needs with administrative tasks effectively.
• A clean disciplinary record with the licensing board.

• Prior experience in a clinical setting with a focus on individual therapy is highly desired.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and technology that facilitates remote therapy sessions is advantageous.
• Experience working with a diverse range of clients, particularly in community health settings, is a plus.
