• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to identify clients' mental health issues and co-create effective treatment plans that align with their therapeutic goals.
• Deliver individual therapy sessions utilizing tailored approaches to promote personal growth, emotional healing, and mental well-being.
• Collaboratively establish therapeutic objectives with clients and monitor their progress, adapting strategies to meet their evolving needs.
• Facilitate teletherapy sessions using secure digital platforms, ensuring adherence to privacy standards while enhancing accessibility for clients.
• Maintain precise and comprehensive documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes to uphold ethical practices and regulatory compliance.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to enhance clinical skills, gain new insights, and stay abreast of emerging trends in mental health and addiction treatment.

As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist at Prairie Behavioral Health, you will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families facing various mental health issues. Your expertise in marriage and family therapy will be instrumental in addressing relationship dynamics, trauma, anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders, helping clients to overcome their challenges and lead fulfilling lives.

• Active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field is required.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to establish a safe and trusted therapeutic relationship with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a nonjudgmental approach toward client experiences.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to manage caseload effectively while addressing administrative responsibilities.

• Experience in providing teletherapy or remote counseling services is highly advantageous.
• Knowledge of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and practices related to marriage and family therapy.
• Competence in addressing addiction and substance use disorders is preferred, with specific interest in training opportunities in this area.
