• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ substance abuse histories and related mental health conditions, identifying key areas for intervention.
• Collaboratively develop individualized treatment plans that address both the addiction and any underlying psychological issues, ensuring holistic care tailored to each client’s unique situation.
• Facilitate structured individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and motivational interviewing to promote positive behavior change.
• Engage in regular collaboration with team members to provide coordinated and comprehensive care, attending multidisciplinary meetings to discuss treatment progress and strategize effective interventions.
• Educate clients and their families about the recovery process, offering guidance and support to foster their involvement and understanding of treatment goals.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date client records in compliance with applicable regulations and organizational policies, ensuring confidentiality and quality of care.

The clients served at our facility include individuals from various backgrounds struggling with substance use disorders, including alcohol, opioids, and other drugs. Many clients may also face co-occurring mental health issues, and as a therapist, you will be equipped to address the complexities of these overlapping challenges. Our goal is to create a supportive atmosphere where clients can engage in their recovery journey and develop essential coping strategies.

• A valid professional license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
• Completion of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated specialized training or significant practical experience in addiction counseling and mental health therapy.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based practices for treating substance abuse issues and associated mental health disorders.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, coupled with the ability to motivate clients to achieve their recovery goals.
