Job description

Solutions Manager, Financial Services

If you have experience blending sales, research, and business analysis - and you enjoy working directly with customers to solve complex problems - this role is for you.

We are looking for a curious, creative problem-solver who can bridge the gap between business development and technical execution. You'll wear two hats: helping prospective Financial Services partners understand and leverage the Signifyd platform, while also serving as the internal quarterback who keeps cross-functional teams aligned and accountable to the commitments made with external partners. You'll work closely with partnerships, sales, customer success, product, engineering, and legal teams to ensure we deliver on our promises while helping partners grow their businesses.

Department: Partnerships

The partnerships team at Signifyd is the nexus between Signifyd employees, customers to a broad ecosystem of external solutions providers. The team works with ecommerce platforms, agencies, systems integrators, financial institutions and ISVs to ensure streamlined operations and synergistic benefits for merchants. Partnerships team members manage relationships with their peers at these organizations, plan and host events, work closely with marketing to produce relevant assets, and drive new sales opportunities to our go to market teams.

Responsibilities

  • Build relationships with potential Financial Services partners using a consultative approach to understand their challenges and present tailored solutions
  • Create and maintain relationships with key stakeholders across prospective and existing partner organizations
  • Clearly articulate the value of the Signifyd platform to a range of audiences, from operational teams to senior leadership
  • Develop a solid understanding of the payments, e-commerce, and fraud prevention landscape, including the underlying technology that powers it
  • Represent Signifyd at industry events, partner meetings and client meetings
  • Serve as the connective tissue between business development and technical teams, translating client needs into actionable requirements and technical concepts into business value
  • Serve as the primary internal project manager for active client engagements - coordinating across Product, Engineering, Legal, and Business Development to ensure internal milestones align with commitments made to external Financial Services institutions
  • Hold internal teams accountable to agreed-upon timelines, proactively flagging risks and driving resolution when deliverables are at risk of slipping
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering to ensure that product roadmap timelines are clearly communicated to external partners and that client-facing deadlines are built into internal planning cycles
  • Navigate legal and contracting processes as needed, working cross-functionally to ensure agreements are executed in a timely manner and do not become a bottleneck to partnership launches

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of experience in B2B financial services, e-commerce, payments, risk, or fraud - or a related solutions, sales support, or technical implementation role
  • Demonstrated ability to manage complex, cross-functional projects involving multiple internal stakeholders, competing priorities, and hard external deadlines
  • Experience working alongside or within Product and Engineering teams, with an understanding of how product development cycles work and how to advocate for external commitments within internal planning processes
  • Familiarity with legal contracting processes in a B2B context - comfortable shepherding agreements forward without getting lost in the details
  • Comfort operating at the intersection of business and technology - you don't need to write code, but you should be able to hold a substantive conversation with engineers and translate that context for a business audience
  • Experience scoping technical requirements, from initial discovery through integration planning
  • Background in business analysis, consulting, finance, or a technical role (e.g., Solutions Engineer, Product Manager, Implementation Manager) is a strong plus
  • Strong analytical thinking with an ability to turn data into a compelling story
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to present to senior stakeholders
  • A natural problem-solver who is resourceful and comfortable working with autonomy
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities without losing sight of the details
