Brown Technologies is seeking a Microsoft Copilot Studio & Power Platform Subject Matter Expert (SME) to design, build, and scale AI-driven agents and workflow automations for commercial clients. This role focuses on creating practical, high-impact Copilot Studio agents and Power Automate workflows that improve productivity, streamline operations, and enable smarter decision-making across business functions.
The ideal candidate is hands-on, comfortable moving quickly, and experienced in turning business needs into working AI agents using Microsoft's Power Platform.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Serve as the SME for Microsoft Copilot Studio, including agent design, configuration, testing, and deployment
  • Design and build AI agents using Copilot Studio that interact with documents, data sources, and business systems
  • Develop and maintain Power Automate workflows to support business processes, approvals, data movement, and system integrations
  • Integrate agents with Microsoft 365 tools such as SharePoint, Teams, Outlook, OneDrive, Dataverse, and Excel
  • Implement effective prompting strategies, conversation flows, and agent logic
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver working solutions quickly
  • Troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance agent and automation performance
  • Create documentation and reusable patterns for agents and workflows
  • Stay current on Microsoft Copilot and Power Platform updates and best practices
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
  • 4+ years of experience with the Microsoft Power Platform, especially Power Automate
  • Hands-on experience building agents with Microsoft Copilot Studio
  • Strong experience creating cloud flows, approvals, and integrations
  • Experience working with SharePoint and Microsoft 365 data sources
  • Ability to work independently and own solutions end-to-end
  • Strong communication skills and a practical, problem-solving mindset
Preferred:
  • Experience building commercial or enterprise productivity tools
  • Familiarity with Dataverse, SQL, or API integrations
  • Experience designing conversational interfaces or AI-powered workflows
  • Microsoft Power Platform or AI-related certifications
