Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to create individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
  • Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions using a variety of modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused short therapy.
  • Facilitate group therapy sessions, as well as provide family and couples counseling, ensuring a supportive environment that encourages open dialogue and healing.
  • Maintain meticulous clinical documentation and client records in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Stay informed on the latest mental health research and best practices by engaging in professional development opportunities and attending relevant workshops.
Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LCPC at Goodwell Counseling Services, you will provide support to a diverse client base. Our focus is on individuals and families who may be grappling with anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use, and other mental health issues. Your expertise will help bridge the gap for those who often lack adequate access to mental health services, making a significant impact on their lives.

Qualifications
  • A valid and active LCPC license in the state of Nevada.
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of two years of experience in a counseling context, providing you with a strong foundation in clinical skills.
  • Proficient understanding of legal and ethical standards surrounding mental health counseling.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with a wide range of clientele.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse is highly desired.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and other technology relevant to telehealth practices.
Compensation and Benefits
