Job Description (Including but not limited to):

The primary duty of the Medical Report Reviewer involves reviewing reports submitted by experts and ensuring that a high-quality product is delivered to our client. In addition to reviewing reports, this person may also be tasked with managing post-IME conference calls related to the reports they are responsible for.

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities

  • Independently manage assigned reports throughout the entire process
  • Conducting comprehensive audits of reports
  • Expectations are as follows: Audit, on average, 3-4 reports per day following 90-day probation
  • Ensuring timely follow-ups to obtain finalized reports
  • Delivering the finalized reports to clients, completing the cycle of report management

Daily Tasks

  • Regularly review and promptly respond to work-related emails
  • Manage and update the status of assigned reports
  • Collaborate with other departments as needed to ensure the accuracy of information used during report auditing
  • Thoroughly complete assigned reports, including auditing, providing updates to experts, and delivering final reports to clients
  • Ability to accurately prioritize assigned reports via Viewpoint throughout each workday
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support business needs.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Proficient in medical/legal terminology, ensuring effective communication with clients
  • Demonstrated computer literacy with proficiency in Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office, showcasing adept use of essential software tools for efficient scheduling operations
  • Uphold professionalism when handling phone and email communications, maintaining a courteous and respectful demeanor in all interactions
  • Possess the ability to work independently, often multitasking in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, showcasing strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Exhibit self-motivation and effective prioritization skills, enabling the seamless management and prioritization of tasks
  • Capable of working well under pressure, demonstrating composure and efficiency in handling challenging situations and tight deadlines
  • Ability to demonstrate and promote a positive team-oriented environment, fostering collaboration, communication, and a cohesive work atmosphere among team members

Physical Requirements

Ability to sit, stand, and use standard office equipment for extended periods; occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. may be required.

Working Conditions

Employees residing within 75 miles of the office may be required to maintain regular in-office attendance. Employees residing outside of 75 miles may be required to travel intermittently to the office (travel expenses covered by the company) and attend company-hosted events with advance notice.
