Remote Copywriter (6-Month Contract)

Overview:

We are seeking a versatile Mid-Level Copywriter to support a portfolio of consumer brands during a leave coverage period. This role will contribute to campaign execution and ongoing creative needs across multiple brands, working closely with internal teams and a senior copywriter.

Details:

  • Duration: 6-month contract
  • Schedule: Standard business hours (~9:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
  • Location: Remote (must reside within EST)
  • Compensation: $36.00-$40.00
  • Equipment: Company-provided

What You’ll Do

  • Write copy across:
    • E-commerce and website experiences
    • Paid social and digital ads
    • Retail and promotional messaging
    • Product and collection storytelling
    • Seasonal campaigns and brand collaborations
    • Email, SMS, app messaging, and other customer-facing channels
  • Adapt voice across a portfolio of brands and audiences
  • Support campaign launches and day-to-day content needs
  • Collaborate closely with copy, creative, and marketing teams
  • Manage multiple workstreams as priorities evolve

What We’re Looking For

  • 3-5+ years of professional copywriting experience
  • Experience in digital marketing, ecommerce, or brand campaigns
  • Strong understanding of product storytelling and customer-facing messaging
  • Ability to shift tone and voice across multiple brands
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
  • Retail, apparel, children’s, lifestyle, or consumer brand experience is a plus
