TITLE: Digital Designer
LOCATION: Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio
HOURS:
  • Monday through Friday
  • Standard hours: 07:30 - 16:30
  • Occasional after-hours support may be required
  • Work schedules will not exceed 40 hours per week

SUMMARY:
The Digital Designer shall provide qualified personnel to support the Advanced Informational Multimedia Services (AIMS) Studio within the Education Delivery Division, Academic Development Branch (USAFSAM/EDMS). This position will collaborate across digital and print platforms and digital design initiatives in support of military medical education and training operations.
This effort supports the 711th Human Performance Wing and United States Air Force School of Aerospace Medicine located at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Digital Designer develops engaging visual assets supporting instructional, marketing, promotional, and educational initiatives for USAFSAM/EDMS. The role collaborates with multimedia teams and subject matter experts to create effective visual communications across digital and print platforms.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum Qualifications
  • Associate or Bachelor's degree in:
  • Graphic Design o Digital Media
  • Visual Communications
  • Related field
  • Minimum two (2) years of professional digital design experience
  • Proficiency with:
  • Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Audition
  • Photoshop
  • After Effects
  • Illustrator
  • Captivate
  • Microsoft Office Suite
  • SharePoint
  • Basic knowledge of:
  • Motion graphics
  • Video editing
  • Understanding of:
  • Accessibility standards
  • File formats
  • Resolution requirements
  • Asset preparation for web and print

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience designing for digital signage platforms
  • Familiarity with:
  • DoD branding guidance

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Design graphics and multimedia assets for educational and marketing initiatives

  • Print materials
  • Collaborate with photographers, videographers, copywriters, and instructional
  • designers
  • Optimize content for multiple platforms and formats
  • Provide creative consultation and design support
  • Support educational technology initiatives and multimedia projects
  • Assist with multimedia equipment inventory and management

Security Requirements
  • Tier 1 Background Investigation (T1/SF85) required
  • Must be eligible for access to government systems and facilities
  • No foreign nationals without prior Government approval
  • Compliance with OPSEC and DoD security requirements mandatory

Additional Requirements
  • Contractor employees must maintain professionalism, integrity, initiative, and organizational effectiveness
  • Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) required
  • Compliance with all applicable Air Force, DoD, HIPAA, cybersecurity, and operational security policies required
