The Humble Therapy Counseling Center is excited to announce an opening for a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Counselor. In this full-time remote role, you will play a pivotal part in transforming mental health care by engaging with clients through innovative, patient-centered approaches. Your primary focus will be on delivering high-quality mental health therapy services that promote wellness and support behavioral health changes among diverse client populations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide mental health counseling services to clients via telehealth platforms, applying evidence-based practices tailored to individual needs.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to develop personalized treatment plans, documenting client progress through accurate clinical records.
  • Evaluate treatment effectiveness regularly and adjust approaches accordingly to ensure optimal outcomes for your clients.
  • Engage in multidisciplinary team consultations, collaborating closely with medical providers and other care professionals to ensure holistic treatment plans.
  • Support clients through various aspects of their care journey by fostering a compassionate and empathetic therapeutic relationship.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on adult clients dealing with mental illnesses, substance use disorders, and chronic conditions. You will be tasked with addressing the complexities of these issues through single-session care and brief outpatient therapy models, which emphasize health behavior changes and effective coping strategies.

Qualifications
  • A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field is required.
  • Must hold active licensure from a State Board (e.g., LCSW, LMHC, LCSW-R, LMFT, PsyD or similar credentials) for independent practice without supervision.
  • Strong ethical foundation and adherence to legal and regulatory requirements governing mental health practices.
  • Relevant experience of at least two years in providing mental health counseling.
  • A reliable internet connection to facilitate telehealth services and communication.
  • Capability to manage priorities effectively, meet deadlines, and maintain high accuracy in documentation while working independently.
  • Cultural competence and awareness of diversity, equity, and inclusion are essential to provide effective therapy.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working in a community health clinic setting is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with telehealth software and digital patient management tools will enhance your ability to perform efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits
