Description & Requirements
Maximus is currently hiring for an Admin II Correspondence to join our Federal Exchange Review Process (FERP) team. This is a remote opportunity. The Admin is responsible for returning calls from consumers regarding case statuses or guidance in how to file an appeal among other questions they may have on the process.
This position will require a Federal Suitability Clearance post-hire as mandated by the client.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Works on assignments that are semi-routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.
- Perform repetitive clerical steps such as document verification, manage inbound and outbound routine calls, and greeting guests.
- Perform entry-level clerical duties requiring general knowledge and the application of various work methods and procedures.
- Provide administrative support to project and operations management, which may include identifying, anticipating, and meetings needs of all departments.
- Manage inbound and outbound calls that are routine in nature, answer inquiries by clarifying desired information; researching, locating, and providing relevant information.
- Follow basic procedures and scripts, using fundamental knowledge of company and project directories, services, and products to assist customers and clients.
- Assist in the processes required for case file creation; including but not limited to data entry and records management.
- Verify images to ensure they are correct using a designated scan protocol.
- Assist in maintenance of the office record and filing system.
Minimum Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent with 1-3 years of experience.
- May have training or education in area of specialization.
- Associates degree preferred.
- One (1) year of relevant work experience required.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products.
- Ability to work a schedule between the hours of 9:00am - 6:00pm EST Monday - Friday.
- Flexibility to work extended hours and rotational weekends.
- Ability to pass a Federal Suitability Clearance.
Please note: For this position Maximus will provide equipment to use.
Home Office Requirements:
- Internet speed of 25mbps or higher required / 50 Mpbs for shared internet connectivity (you can test this by going to www.speedtest.net)
- Minimum 5mpbs upload speed
- Connectivity to the internet via Category 5 or 6 ethernet patch cable to the home router
- Private and secure work area and adequate power source
- Must currently and permanently reside in the Continental US
- Must have a smartphone which will be required to log into Maximus systems
