Position Overview

As a Mechanical Claims Specialist, you will act as a subject matter expert for vehicle repair claims, working directly with dealerships, repair facilities, and vehicle owners. Your primary responsibility will be evaluating warranty claims, determining coverage eligibility, and guiding customers through the claims process while delivering exceptional service.

Using your automotive knowledge, you will review repair recommendations, assess warranty coverage, and explain approval or denial decisions clearly and professionally.


Key Responsibilities
  • Review, investigate, and process mechanical warranty claims accurately and efficiently.
  • Utilize automotive repair knowledge to determine warranty coverage based on established guidelines.
  • Communicate with dealerships, repair facilities, and vehicle owners via phone and email.
  • Explain claim approvals, denials, and next steps in a professional and customer-focused manner.
  • Provide guidance to customers experiencing vehicle issues and explain the claim submission process.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records within company claims systems.
  • Navigate multiple computer systems while managing customer interactions.
  • Collaborate with team members and leadership to ensure quality service and claim accuracy.

QualificationsRequired
  • Minimum 3 years of automotive mechanic or related mechanical experience
  • Strong understanding of vehicle repair processes and components
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Experience handling customer concerns and resolving issues professionally
  • Strong computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to multitask and navigate multiple systems simultaneously
  • Detail-oriented and self-motivated
