Company Overview

The Measurement & Reporting Analyst supports the development, validation, and execution of measurement and reporting solutions for the DG Media Network Learn More DG Media Network. 

This role partners cross-functionally with Data Science, Engineering, Product, and external teams to translate business needs into scalable measurement and reporting capabilities. The Analyst will assist in developing, testing, and launching measurement and reporting capabilities, while providing support to DG Media Network’s internal teams to drive adoption and scale usage. The position requires experience in business analysis, requirement gathering, and working with technology teams to translate business needs into product priorities and technical requirements.


Job Details
 
  • Partner with Data Science, Engineering, IT, DGMN teams, and third-party partners to support the development and enhancement of media measurement and reporting capabilities. (25%)
  • Contribute to the testing, validation, and quality assurance of reporting outputs, dashboards, and data pipelines to ensure accuracy and consistency. (25%)
  • Translate business needs into clear requirements for data science and data engineering teams. (25%)
  • Support the rollout adoption of measurement and reporting solutions across Operations, Insights, and Sales teams with documentation, resources, and training materials. (10%)
  • Gather and synthesize feedback from stakeholders to identify opportunities to improve reporting tools and processes. (10%)
  • Assist with ad hoc reporting requests to support product development and CPG client needs. (5%)

Qualifications

Basic qualifications:

  • Foundational understanding of statistical concepts to ensure the accuracy and reliability of performance data and to provide actionable insights.
  • Understanding of sales attribution across various touchpoints in the customer journey, including view-through conversions, to measure an ad’s true impact.
  • Experience with SQL and statistical programming languages such as Python or R.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to translate complex analytical and technical findings into clear, concise, and compelling narratives for non-technical audiences.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented self-starter with the ability to drive progress and contribute to solving business problems.
  • Demonstrates a growth-oriented and collaborative mindset.
  • Bachelor’s degree in quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Data Science, Economics, Computer Science).
  • 2 years of experience in data analysis, media measurement, or reporting.
  • 2 years of marketing, media, digital advertising, or e-commerce experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with collaborating on technology projects or working with IT teams.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Familiarity in complex measurement methodologies, including multi-touch attribution (MTA), market mix modeling (MMM), and designing/analyzing incrementality tests (e.g., A/B tests, geo-experiments) to prove media effectiveness.
  • Experience with IT product management.
  • Proven ability to work cross-functionally with technical and non-technical teams.
