This position is fully remote, allowing for a flexible work schedule that accommodates your professional and personal needs. As a telehealth provider, you will conduct sessions in a virtual environment, utilizing advanced technology to connect with clients from the comfort of their homes. This modern approach to mental health care enables you to reach individuals who may face challenges in accessing traditional in-office visits.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients to identify their needs and develop tailored treatment plans.
• Regularly communicate progress to supervisors and engage with family members and guardians to provide holistic support for clients, ensuring everyone is on the same page regarding treatment pathways.
• Create and maintain an organized tentative schedule for appointments, home visits (when applicable), and ongoing assessments to optimize client care.
• Coordinate virtual home visits and monitoring strategies to gather vital information, facilitating thorough case reviews and informed decision-making.
• Ensure the effective execution of treatment plans by closely monitoring client progress and adjusting strategies as necessary.
• Participate actively in interdisciplinary team meetings to share insights, learn from colleagues, and collaborate on patient-centered care initiatives.
• Document monthly and quarterly progress notes that reflect client development and any challenges faced during treatment.
• Lead educational training sessions for support staff to ensure they are well-equipped to follow treatment protocols and documentation requirements.
• Provide continuous follow-up and support through virtual platforms, ensuring that clients receive necessary interventions that uphold their mental health needs.
• Establish connections with the public and local mental health community to promote programs that align with our organizational goals.

As an LPC at Motion Matrix Counseling, you will work with a diverse range of clients, including adults and youth, who are dealing with various mental health challenges. Your role will include supporting individuals with issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, relationship conflicts, and more. Your understanding of different therapeutic approaches will allow you to tailor your services to meet the unique needs of each client.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.
• An active and unrestricted license as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of two years of experience in counseling, preferably in a clinical or telehealth environment.
• A strong grasp of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team is essential.
• Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) software and virtual communication technologies.

• Specialized training or certifications in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly desirable.
• Previous experience working in a telehealth or remote counseling capacity is an advantage.
