Position Overview

Motion Matrix Counseling is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. As a vital member of our behavioral health department, you will play a key role in delivering mental health support and interventions aimed at enhancing the well-being of our clients. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct ongoing assessments for clients to determine mental health needs and appropriate treatment plans, tailoring interventions to individual circumstances.
• Effectively communicate with supervisors, caregivers, and family members to provide updates on client progress, ensuring a cohesive support network.
• Maintain an organized schedule of appointments, home visits, and clinical observations to monitor clients' therapeutic advancements and adherence to program plans.
• Coordinate home visits to encompass in-home observations, thorough chart reviews, and insightful staff interviews, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each client’s environment.
• Implement and monitor the effectiveness of program plans, ensuring that interventions are not only delivered but are also producing meaningful outcomes for clients.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to provide insights and collaborate on treatment strategies that enhance client care.
• Prepare and maintain accurate monthly and quarterly progress notes, documenting client developments and areas for continued intervention.
• Lead training sessions to ensure that all team members are well-versed in program methodologies and documentation procedures.
• Engage in follow-up interviews and additional home visits to reinforce support, addressing any ongoing or emerging needs in a timely manner.
• Act as a liaison with the wider mental health community, advocating for resource access and development goals that benefit the client population.
• Develop training materials to enhance program effectiveness, ensuring all staff members are equipped to provide high-quality care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As an LPC at Motion Matrix Counseling, you will work with a diverse clientele, including both adults and youth, facing various challenges such as trauma, substance use disorders, and relationship issues. Your expertise will be critical in fostering a safe space for healing and growth, where you can empower clients to reach their mental health goals.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is essential for this role.
• Current, active licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Arizona is mandatory.
• A minimum of two years of counseling experience, particularly in clinical settings, is required to ensure you can effectively navigate the therapeutic landscape.
• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, substance misuse, or trauma recovery is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of legal and ethical guidelines governing mental health practices.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills are necessary to establish rapport and trust with a diverse range of clients.
• Team-oriented attitude with a proven ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare setting.
• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems and related technologies is required for effective documentation and client management.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities and a willingness to integrate current best practices into client care.
• Experience providing telehealth services is a plus, given the remote nature of this position.

Compensation and Benefits
