Job description

We are sharing a specialised part-time consulting opportunity for finance professionals experienced in investment research, financial analysis, valuation, public markets research, financial modeling, and structured investment workflow review.

This role supports current and upcoming remote consulting opportunities focused on structured investment research review, equity and macroeconomic analysis, financial model assessment, valuation documentation, earnings review, risk assessment, and high-quality project execution. Selected professionals will apply their investment analysis skills to review realistic financial research scenarios, evaluate investment reasoning, prepare structured written outputs, and support accurate, evidence-based investment research tasks.

Key Responsibilities

Professionals in this role may contribute to:

Equity & Macroeconomic Research

  • Conduct or review equity research across companies, sectors, industries, and public market themes
  • Analyze earnings reports, company filings, market data, macroeconomic indicators, and investment research materials
  • Support structured review of company profiles, sector notes, market summaries, and investment research outputs
  • Identify missing context, unsupported assumptions, market drivers, and expected investment research outcomes

Financial Modeling & Valuation Review

Ideal Profile

Strong candidates may have:

  • 1–3 years of experience in investment banking, equity research, asset management, buy-side research, corporate finance, transaction advisory, valuation, or related finance roles
  • Strong understanding of financial statements, valuation techniques, accounting basics, and public market research
  • Experience with Excel-based financial modeling, DCF analysis, comparable company analysis, scenario analysis, or earnings review
  • Familiarity with tools and sources such as Excel, Google Sheets, company filings, earnings transcripts, Yahoo Finance, Koyfin, Bloomberg, Capital IQ, FactSet, or similar research platforms
  • Comfort reading and preparing finance artifacts such as financial models, investment notes, valuation summaries, earnings reviews, risk assessments, and research memos
  • Clear written communication skills and ability to explain financial reasoning clearly
  • Ability to follow structured instructions and produce evidence-based work

Educational Background

  • A degree or professional background in finance, economics, accounting, business administration, mathematics, statistics, investment management, or a related quantitative field is helpful
  • Equivalent practical experience in investment research, financial analysis, valuation, investment banking, equity research, or public markets analysis is also highly relevant
