Job description

We’re seeking a seasoned IT Project Lead to support a high-visibility technology initiative in Maplewood, MN. This role is ideal for a collaborative project leader who thrives in complex, cross-functional environments and enjoys bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to large-scale work.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the development and ongoing management of high-level project plans, schedules, dependencies, milestones, and risks.
  • Coordinate work across cross-functional teams to keep deliverables aligned with project goals and timelines.
  • Support project execution using collaboration and reporting tools such as Jira, qTest, and Microsoft applications.
  • Partner with project leadership to establish and facilitate recurring meetings and communication cadences.
  • Create and maintain status updates and presentation materials for leadership and steering committee meetings.
  • Track project risks, develop mitigation approaches with stakeholders, and escalate issues when needed.
  • Manage project documentation and deliverables to support methodology and traceability requirements.
  • Work closely with internal partners and stakeholders to support the broader scope of the initiative.
Skills
  • 8+ years of experience leading complex programs with multiple project workstreams.
  • Strong ability to influence and coordinate through partnership rather than direct authority.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging for different audiences.
  • Experience supporting large transformation programs.
  • Ability to synthesize project progress, identify priorities, and clearly communicate risks and blockers.
  • Working knowledge of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related business applications.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Preferred Skills
  • Experience with FinTech transformation programs.
  • Familiarity with global teams and working across multiple time zones.
  • Hands-on experience with Atlassian Jira and Tricentis qTest.
  • Ability to create polished PowerPoint presentations for executive-level reporting.
  • PMP or Agile methodology background.
