As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will:

• Oversee and ensure accurate and timely documentation in each client’s clinical chart while managing quality assurance to address deficiencies.
• Actively participate in clinical team meetings, providing your valuable perspective on client cases and treatment modalities.
• Assist clients in engaging with daily treatment activities, empowering them to take ownership of their mental health journeys.
• Support clients by helping them to navigate barriers and challenges they face during their treatment, ensuring that they stay on track toward recovery.
• Collaborate with primary therapists to create and refine treatment plans customized to the unique needs of each assigned client.
• Facilitate comprehensive treatment planning updates, ensuring all therapeutic modalities are integrated into the care process.
• Conduct weekly individual therapy sessions for an assigned caseload of clients, employing evidence-based techniques and therapeutic practices.
• Lead group counseling sessions and education workshops in alignment with the established program schedule.
• Coordinate necessary treatment services for your caseload, collaborating with external service providers when needed.
• Maintain regular communication with families and referral sources to update them on client progress.
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives impacting service delivery and clinical outcomes.
• Participate in professional development opportunities such as in-service training and supervision meetings to enhance your skill set.
• Ensure that all client records are comprehensive and comply with licensing standards.

The role primarily focuses on adult clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Your approach will be informed by an understanding of the nuances of client backgrounds and the diverse experiences that shape their mental health conditions. Client interactions will be rooted in empathy and the aim to facilitate significant life changes.

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field, such as MA in Clinical Psychology, MA in Counseling, or MA in Clinical Social Work.
• Valid state licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, or LMFT. Please note that associates-level licenses are currently not billable through Medicare.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word, with strong documentation skills.
• An ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple cases with independence and minimal supervision.

While not required, experience working with geriatric populations is highly desirable.
