Renewal Path, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our expert team remotely in Downey, California. This full-time position is key to delivering personalized mental health care that can significantly impact the lives of individuals and families. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing tailored treatment plans, facilitating client sessions, and monitoring ongoing progress to ensure comprehensive care in our community health clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will play a pivotal role in guiding clients towards improved mental health. Your responsibilities include:

• Conducting individual therapy sessions weekly for all assigned clients, implementing therapeutic techniques unique to their needs.
• Facilitating group counseling sessions and psychoeducation workshops that respect the diverse backgrounds of participants.
• Creating personalized treatment and discharge plans through collaboration with Primary Therapists and ensuring inclusion of all treatment modalities.
• Documenting client progress and maintaining accurate records in compliance with licensing standards and quality assurance protocols.
• Engaging clients in daily treatment activities, offering support to overcome barriers and accomplish therapeutic tasks.
• Coordinating with family members and referral sources, maintaining weekly communication to foster a supportive care network.
• Participating in clinical team meetings to discuss client progress, share insights, and enhance treatment effectiveness.
• Engaging in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.
• Contributing to in-service training, supervision meetings, and additional team-building activities to foster continuous professional growth.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role involves working with a diverse client population, including individuals facing challenges related to anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health issues. Our clients come from various backgrounds, and it is essential to demonstrate cultural competency and compassion in delivery of care.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or a related field, such as Counseling or Social Work.
• Active licensure as an LCSW, LMFT, LPCC, or equivalent in the state of California. Please note that we currently cannot consider applicants with an associate license.
• Proficient computer skills, particularly in MS Office Suite, to facilitate effective documentation and communication.
• A self-directed approach with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment managing multiple client cases.
• Excellent communication skills to foster collaborative relationships with clients and colleagues.

Preferred Experience

Experience working with geriatric populations is preferred but not required. Candidates with a background in diverse therapeutic interventions and community outreach may have an added advantage.

Compensation and Benefits

Renewal Path, LLC offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 122,000 annually, commensurate with experience. In addition to a supportive work culture, we provide comprehensive benefits that include:
