Role Description This is a remote Travel Customer Service role. The Travel Customer Service Representative will work directly with clients to understand their travel needs, preferences, and budgets, and then design customized itineraries that may include flights, accommodations, transportation, tours, and other activities. Day-to-day tasks include researching destinations, pricing, and availability; preparing and presenting travel options; and creating accurate travel proposals and confirmations. The role also involves managing bookings and reservations, processing payments, and monitoring itinerary changes such as schedule updates or cancellations. The Travel Customer Service Representative will provide ongoing customer support before, during, and after travel, handle inquiries via phone, email, and online channels, and maintain detailed records in booking and CRM systems. The position requires staying informed about travel advisories, supplier policies, and loyalty programs to guide clients effectively and responsibly. Travel training will be provided.


Qualifications

  • Interest in the travel industry.
  • Strong organization skills for handling travel arrangements and reservations, such as booking flights, accommodations, transportation, and activities .
  • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to respond promptly, resolve issues, and maintain a professional, empathetic communication style.
  • Comfort using online booking tools, supplier portals, and basic office software (email, spreadsheets, and client tracking systems).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and itineraries.
  • Ability to work independently in a remote environment, manage time effectively, and handle multiple client requests and deadlines.
